Great opportunities to work on new projects and collaborate with experienced peers that are passionate in making a difference.

Cons

The company has gone through a few layoffs in the past. Opportunities to advance in your department are hard to come by.

Pros

Gym on site, 401k matching. Stock purchase. Depending on manager, there’s flexibility to work from home when needed. Cafeteria on campus. They preach “family”

Cons

Yearly December layoffs. Old technology. Salaries are not based on industry. No promotions. 2.5% max merit increases. No bonus for employees unless you a manager and above. Bad insurance benefits. High deductibles.

Pros

Its an OK company, nothing extraordinary. Poor benefits, the place has become stagnant. Not everyone has a great attitude. Mediocre compared to other companies.

Cons

Systems are outdated, strict hours, endless annual layoffs, there is a lack of job security and very little opportunity for career growth, unfortunately. The management doesn't put People first.

Pros

Leadership was encouraging and delivered challenging work to keep me engaged. They covered my relocation expenses seamlessly. I was given autonomy when it came to managing my workload.

Cons

None. Only left because of the COVID-19 layoffs and furloughs.

Pros

The inside sales jobs are an easy job. The pay is average. Ryder is a well established company that has been an industry leader since 1932.

Cons

Poor morale. Worse management in the inside sales group. Very high school like in style. Prone to layoffs every time the stock goes down. Very political.

Not what it used to be

Pros

Company has a great history, and great people work there.

Cons

Projects/Initiatives take forever to get started, tons of bureaucracy, low morale, and the company has had 3 rounds of layoffs in the past three years. It seems like the company's business plan is to see what the competition is doing.
