Pros

The Shift supervisors were friendly and willing to assist. The 10 hour 4 day work weeks were awesome for work-life balance. The PTO accrual was generous overall. The place was very laid back outside of peak season

Cons

The Upper management was horrible. The company did not care about the employees and even shut down without notice, laying off all employees right at the 2023 new year. There is no way the company was unaware and should have notified the employees so they could be actively looking for a new job instead of blindsiding everyone. The Upper management did not care or listen to employee feedback. The company also does not care about the customers and knowingly sent out poor quality products to reduce company cost. There is clearly a reason why the company has changed names from Teespring to Spring inc and now to Amaze. Would highly recommend not doing anything involving Spring/Amaze.

NOT the creator company

Pros

Talented individual contributors, working hard every day despite being undermined and unsupported.

Cons

As eCommerce boomed everywhere in 2020-2021, this was the time for companies to heavily invest in their technology and prepare for the inevitable economic recession we were all heading towards. Instead, Spring’s upper management decided to invest in initiatives that cost them a lot of resources, looked good to their investors, but generated no revenue….leading to every other department lacking the resources they need to make meaningful changes that would have helped improve the platform and ultimately improve the creators’ experience. Spring claims to be The creator company but yet consistently shows that they know very little about the space they are in and the people who are in the center of it: the creators.

Piss-Poor Corporate Management

Pros

The people at the production plant are really good to work with. If you come in with the right attitude and work hard you can go places in this building. Willing to promote and move up the hard workers.

Cons

The upper management really don't know how to run a production plant. If they would leave the day to day operations to the plant manager it would be ran a lot better. They have made changes to the system and the way we sell our product that really hurts our sales. I'll be surprised if the plant is still open in 6 months.

Pros

- Got to work with some of the most talented people around - Lots of technical challenges to tackle - High flexibility in terms of what team/product you get to work on - Ability to work remote

Cons

- Benefits are mediocre (no 401k) - Pay could be a lot better (only receive 2 raises in the 4 years of working there) - CEO has no clue what to focus on - Numerous profitable projects were killed for no apparent reason. Really frustrating considering all the engineering time and effort that was put into them
