Needs a lot of work

Pros

Schedule flexibility, brings in some leads for nutritionists, bonus opportunities

Cons

Extremely unorganized, do not get compensated for marketing/promoting the company, one owner only gives attention to high performers, inappropriate comments made by owner (multiple comments about how he wouldn’t have a job if they had an HR), constant tension between employees/owners, wasted time in meetings, errors on almost every paycheck and it is your responsibility to catch them.

Pros

You can gain a lot of experience from this job if you are willing to burn yourself out by seeing an unhealthy amount of clients each day

Cons

If you look at the reviews, there are four reviews written within four days in January 2022. All of those reviews are fake from the owners to cover up bad reviews that were previously posted. This highlights the type of company this is. Instead of making changes to treat their employees better, they manipulate things and try to cover up honest feedback. We just had three really good providers leave (that trained us) and none of the owners celebrated the work that they did for us, explained why they were leaving, or made changes. The exit process was extremely unorganized and it put a lot of stress on the people that stayed here because no one knows what’s going on. On top of that, one of the owners compared our turnover of about 25% of the company to Amazon… We only have less than 30 employees. They only value people that jeopardize their work life balance to make them money. They bill clients health insurance to build their own pockets, yet they don’t give their own employees any health benefits of their own. We’re a health company… on top of that, they immediately posted a job opening that said we have benefits, base pay, etc. which is a lie!!! I am currently looking for another job because I do not want to get burned by these people.

Pros

Providing nutrition counseling services to clients.

Cons

Underpaid and overworked. Despite the company being around for 30 years, there is a severe lack of employee benefits (no health insurance, sick days, maternity leave, etc.). Team meetings, trainings, and marketing events are often unpaid. Turnover is tremendous and burnout is high. Management is highly unprofessional and disrespectful. Paychecks are often in error and the responsibility is put on the employee for not checking closely. Administrative support leaves much to be desired. HR is non-existent.
