Team India’s trip to Lohagad fort… What can be better than a thrilling trip with our AST friends in this awesome season of monsoon 😊 Team India enjoyed an adventurous trek to the Lohagad fort on 5th July ’19. Lohagad (iron fort) is one of the many hill forts of Maharashtra state in India and it rises to an elevation of 1,033 m (3,389 ft) above sea level. We started at 7 AM from Pune office for the exciting trip. The fun began at 9.30 AM , when we indulged in a rocking trek to the fort, enjoying the piping hot onion fritters and refreshing lemonade present by the roadside . Team had lunch after reaching back from the fort . Below is a picture of the fun filled trip :
Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace -Awareness Programme We conducted an employee awareness programme at AST India on 3rd July ’19, for Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace. It was conducted by a subject matter expert and external trainer. The purpose of the programme was to: Create an Understanding of Sexual Harassment with some organisational examples. Explain the Complaint process as per law. Create an awareness about the Redressal Mechanism of the organisation. Provide a Personal Assistance Programme for employees. Discuss the Prevention and the Prohibition Strategies by understanding roles and responsibilities that employees have. Create an understanding about the personal interaction guidelines or the do’s and don’ts at workplace to ensure creating a safe and healthy work environment. Indeed, it proved to be very informative & helpful for the employees.
