International Women’s Day celebration at AST India … We had a great celebration at India office on International Women’s Day. It was two days celebration-7th & 8th March 2019. Unusually, the events were organized for both male & female employees 😊 We organized the following activities: Housie Game- Team felt refreshed playing the game, that was organized at Pune office on 7th March 2019. We awarded the winners with special fun prizes on the same day. Sketching Workshop- We had organized a Sketching Workshop on 7th March 2019. Here, we had an external expert, who taught sketching to employees for around two hours. Team really enjoyed the activity. Cooking Workshop- This was organized on 8th March 2019, where we invited an external chef. She taught us to make simple yet delicious dishes. We concluded the workshop by a group activity, where employees had to decorate cup cakes with icing & sugar-coated tablets. The winners were awarded with prizes. Last but not the least, we gave special gifts to all our female employees on the occasion.
The women of AST gathered together on Friday, March 8, in honor of International Women’s Day, for an inspirational discussion and luncheon in our Lisle headquarters. We heard stories of strength and perseverance from women across our organization, and shared our visions for the future of equality and women in the workplace. Valentine’s day at AST India... It’s the day of celebration of love but love is not restricted to your husband and wife, or girlfriend or boyfriend. It extends to all the people who care for you and enrich your life with their presence. Therefore, we celebrated the day with our AST friends, by wearing Red and exchanging cakes, candies and flowers. We had special lunch arranged on the occasion. Goodbye 2018 ! Team India indulged in a rocking annual bash at Pune, India on 27th December 2018. Needless to say, it was great amusement with awesome music & dance, followed by drinks and dinner. We decided to award AST Premier League winners on the same day, which added charm to the event. This is how we said Goodbye to 2018 & welcomed 2019….a fun moment of the celebration :
AST India office ends 2018 with the AST Premier League!!! Our Pune office recently concluded the fourth season of the AST Premier League (APL) – AST’s intramural cricket tournament. With a rich legacy of three successful tournaments, the expectations were sky-high. We had the same five teams participating: The Rocking Techies, the Smashers, the Lions, the Avengers, and the Fusion Fighters. The tournament began on December 10 and the December 19 finale featured the Smashers and Avengers! We witnessed record participation by over 85 employees. We had Sakshee Kale chosen as the first women captain. We also launched our in-house developed betting engine – ‘The Fantasy League’, which allowed our employees to build their dream teams and win big prizes. The finale was an ‘edge of the seat’ encounter and really went down to the wire. Here is a picture of the recently concluded tournament.
Secret Santa at AST India Office AST Offshore team played Secret Santa for 11 days starting from 6th Dec’18 to 19th Dec’18. Secret Santa is a Christmas tradition. It’s mystery. It’s excitement. It’s the joy of knowing someone is thinking about you. It’s the thrill of opening something but, more than that, the magic of connection. Employees draw random names to become someone’s Secret Santa. The Secret Santa is given a wish list of gift ideas to choose from to give to their chosen Snowflake(Giftee). After opening their present, the Snowflake has to guess their Secret Santa was. It’s a holiday classic where the guessing is as much a part of the fun as receiving the gift. We celebrated Secret Santa on 21st Dec’18. Total 60 employees participated in this fun event and made it a huge success.
