The World Economic Forum has designated Flex Sorocaba a Sustainability Lighthouse in Brazil for their development of a holistic circular economy ecosystem that leverages Industry 4.0 technologies. Seen here, Paul Baldassari, EVP worldwide operations, accepts two honors for Flex Sorocaba: being named a Global Lighthouse Network in October of last year and the new distinction of a Sustainability Lighthouse. "It is an incredible achievement to have our Sorocaba site named as Flex’s first Sustainability Lighthouse factory – as well as the first of its kind in Brazil,” said Hooi Tan, President, Global Operations and Supply Chain, Flex. Introducing: Flex India’s annual Christmas celebration! 🎄 One-upping our last year’s celebration was certainly a difficult feat but not impossible. This year, Flex India ignited the Christmas spirit by adorning their office spaces with hanging candy canes, beautiful wreaths, and twinkling stars. Through specially curated activities such as secret santa gift giving, stimulating contests, and talent shows, employees shared their infectious joy and showcased their diverse talent in singing and baking. What a wonderful way to close the year!
Last month, Human Rights Campaign designated Flex Mexico and Flex Brazil as Best Places to Work for LGBTQ+ People for their demonstrated commitment to adopting inclusive policies and practices for our employees. While this is the second consecutive year that our Mexico team has earned this honor, our Brazil team was recognized during the first year this distinction was launched for companies with a presence in Brazil.
