Philips hosted Dutch delegation led by its Vice Minister of Health, Curative Care, Barbara Goezinne, as well as senior officials from Dutch Government and Embassy of Netherlands in India, at its Innovation Campus in Bengaluru. The visit included enriching discussions around Impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on Health Outcomes and demonstrations of various AI-driven innovative healthcare solutions. The delegation also comprised healthcare providers from leading hospital groups in India who shared their views on how AI can simplify their work and provide better patient care. Interesting synergies and common challenges were identified in the Dutch and Indian health systems, which could be potentially addressed by the promise of AI. The delegation reinforced importance of collaboration between technology developers, providers and Governments for successful development and adoption of AI solutions to impact patient journey.

The Philips Innovation Campus (PIC) in Bengaluru hosted its annual technology symposium, ‘Cognizance,’ organized by the Community of Practice for Clinical and Systems Engineering. This symposium was the culmination of a series of internal engagement initiatives, including mock debates, white papers, and poster submissions under the themes - Patient Safety and Quality, Impact with Care, and Leveraging AI. The highlight of the day was the talk on ‘Systems Engineering Approach to Systematic Innovation’ by the chief guest Dr. Aloknath De , Founder & CEO of Techcrafter.
