Corporate Sponsorships Reimagined: Extreme Sailing Series™

Over the last three years, our boats have tripled in speed. Imagine facing a 600 kmph tennis serve. Or a Formula One car racing at 900 kmph. The way we see it, Extreme Sailing Series™ competitors have two goals. The first one is obvious and is an objective that all professional athletes share: win.

Make an Impact and Make it Count.

At SAP, we are always looking for ways to do our part and make people’s lives better. Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) focuses on three main areas:

  1. Volunteering
  2. Scaling Social Enterprises
  3. Education & Workforce development

From our annual volunteer events, to individual hands-on help or business coaching and support, SAP employees contribute their time and talents in a variety of ways to support social organizations in their communities and globally.

We support the accelerated growth of social enterprises that approach the world’s most pressing societal challenges with innovative business models. We offer pro bono volunteering programs, enterprise technology solutions, and financial support for social and entrepreneurial enterprises in mature and emerging markets.

As SAP, we know that the fundamental means for people to fulfill their potential is through education. That’s why we proudly support innovative educational initiatives that help young people pursue science, IT or entrepreneurial careers, even providing free education and employment opportunities in developing regions such as Africa and Brazil.

Additionally, every October, SAP embarks on its signature corporate volunteer initiative – Month of Service – where you’ll have the chance to use your personal and professional skills for your community’s needs.

I have been working at SAP full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Company's trust in it's people. Many benefits provided like free food, free shuttle. All the projects are long term assignments. Annual hike is better than many other companies

    Cons

Sometimes the work load is too high. Commute to office in Bangalore location is a big issue with ongoing traffic issues due to metro works.

    Advice to Management

Look for the resource utilization and see if any resource is over utilized. Open up for more wfh policy.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at SAP.

    Interview

It was Quite a Tough Round, I expected First telephonic round to be maximum 30 mintes but it went for 90 minutes so my advice to all the people that prepare well and get ready to be asked even deeper ...much deeper...most of the questions will be from past experience and projects so make sure you know every damn thing about your experience and projects you worked on...The interviewer will always try to make you nervous or puzzled by asking are you sure?.....be honest if you don't know accept it rather manipulating it...remain confident and explain in detail including the most technical stuff......if you have not worked and faking your experience please do not you won't be selected

    • Questions from past projects....almost everything you written in your Resume need to be explained in very detail   Answer Question
