      HRBP Interview

      30 Jul 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Noida
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Adobe (Noida) in Mar 2017

      Interview

I applied for a job opening here and after telephonic interview was called for face to face discussion twice on weekdays.Interview process was smooth. I was asked to wait for 15-20 minutes which is acceptable considering the people who were gonna take my interview were pretty seniors so might have got stuck in something.I was updated by recruiter about the next step in a day or two of the interview when I was shortlisted. However after the final round of interview I did not get any update from recruiter. I called him up but got no response, So I dropped an email and waited for a week just to know the status of my application and feedback of the interview but never got any reply or call from recruiter. I got the idea that I am not through but the point I am trying to make here is that the candidate who is approached by your company, who is taking interest and investing time to get associated with your company deserves to get a feedback and response after the interview. Imagine after all that time invested in researching the employer, peparing for the interview, attending calls and face to face interviews and then no reply afterward. I mean if its not possible to give detailed feedback to all candidates then the least HR can do is let the candidates know by mail or by just a call of few seconds the result of the interview and wish the candidates well with their future endeavours. Its not about whether the candidate is selected or rejected but whether the organization realises that not responding to candidates shows that you have no respect for them. Let them know that you appreciate their effort. And, this is important for good PR of the company as well. Its not only the individual's need to get the job but the company's need as well to get a good candidate. Professional HRs would always share the staus of interview to rejected candidates as well as quickly, sincerely and professionally as possible along with constructive feedback which can assist them in being shortlisted in future. I did not expect it from a professional and reputed company like Adobe.
