      Software QA Lead Interview

      12 Dec 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Adobe (New York, NY) in Oct 2020

      Interview

Interview experience was really good, interviewer were very knowledgeable and asked good amount of questions on java coding and test scenarios, there were 6 rounds, 1 online test, 2 technical, 2 manager and senior manager then 1 final round with manager. Afterall I got a call from HR that I am selected for the QA Lead position and for sharing the proposed offer and she asked me to accept it by next day and in case if there is any query then we can discuss the same on the next day. So on the same day I revert on the HR mail that I am happy with the shared numbers but request you to increase the fix amount in package if possible (as the amount was less than my current ctc), after that I didn't get any response from the HR for 2 weeks. I mailed her again and again to ask for the update even I told her that if offer cannot be changed then it's okay, but she didn't respond back. Also I messaged her on LinkedIn and called her but she didn't pick my call. That was totally unprofessional behavior I didn't expect that in Adobe. After 15 days I got the call from HR and she said that she was very busy in last 2 weeks that's why was not able to revert. Then I asked her about the update, then she said that the position for which I was selected is on hold now. So we are really sorry, we tried but not able to make it... Seriously???
