I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon in Sept 2016
Interview
-Before anything I applied online then I passed my assessment test.
-Received an Email from HR about setting up an interview at another state ( which is awesome!! Since they reimburse you for your travel expenses and put you in a different city)
- The interviewing process was incredibly intimidating, they put you in a room with 10 other individuals who are going for the same position as you are. (Yikes!)
- I was interviewed by 2 current Area Managers, they seemed really laid back.
- 1st was basically you going in depth about your Resume and 2nd was a Case Study.
After a few days I received an email saying I was picked for the position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What about Amazon made you apply?
Can you go in depth about a time where you had a difficult experience with co workers or a subordinate?
Describe yourself in a few words?
For the Case Study:
Know how to answer the questions using STAR, they are really impressed when you do use it.
Prior to even speaking to anyone about a possible interview there was a long and lengthy testing required. Really disappointing to finish with no feedback or additional details. I only received an email post test.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Stamford, CT)
Interview
Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. Talked to 3 different people, all of whom were wearing old sweatshirts and not looking at the camera. As I was sitting on zoom in a suit jacket, did not feel at all a place I would be valued at.

Question 1
Conflict between coworkers, how would you approach resolving?
All virtual. STAR interview questions (situation task action result). Think of examples of tough situations you had to deal with. I think I had 2 or 3 interviews before I got an offer. Pretty smooth process overall.
