I was approached by a recruiter on LinkedIn about my interest in this position. The position lined up well with my background and interests, so I was thrilled. The recruiter completed a phone screen to align my background with the core competencies of the role as well as my interest in the company. The following week, I participated in 1.5 hours of in-person interviews, where I was interviewed in a group setting by my future team followed by a 1:1 with my future manager. I received feedback from the recruiter and a timeline that same day. I was informed about the decision made within the timeline and received a verbal offer at that time.
