Unorganised People, lack of trust between individuals.
They tell the whole process, but at the very next step, they change the process.
They sent invite for 2 interview rounds, 1 hour each, with 2 interviews each in each round (total 4 interviews). Without information, 1 interviewer didn’t join in each round. Later on they came back and said the interviewer who didn’t join now they also want to spend 1 hour each.
As conveyed initially, I was expecting 3 panel rounds, however, at this stage they changed it to 4. I went into these. Couple of interviewers had really poor internet connection and I had too repeat same thing multiple times loosing/missing few important pointers as I was now focusing more on whether they are able to hear or not.
As conveyed initially, it was offer discussion with HR, however, now hiring manager wanted to meet me again, even though he had a dedicated discussion at the start of the interview process itself. I assume only after his approval, recruiter proceeded with the process.
Out of the blue, I got an email from another recruiter for scheduling my interview with HM for another role. I informed her that I already had 8-9 rounds for Sr. Principal role and another round is scheduled with HM. She realised it as her mistake and pulled-back.
On the day of scheduled second discussion with HM, I got a templated rejection email from my old recruiter. When I converted my confusion that my discussion is scheduled with the HM today, she apologised and said it might got a wrong information and she will correct it.
Just after my email conversation with recruiter, I got an email from the coordinator who pushed my upcoming discussion with the HM for 2 days later, unilaterally.
Until now, I was super frustrated with all this mess and lost my patience as they never valued my time. Additionally, they always pushed me to adjust my schedule according to the interviewer’s working hours, even if interviewer was sitting in the opposite part of the world. It reminded me about one of the interviewers who told me something on similar lines in context of culture which bothers him as well at work.
I never expected this from Autodesk, however, truth left me surprised. I dropped my candidature at this stage due to no-process, planing or well-communication in the organisation.
