      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Capgemini (Manchester, England) in Sept 2015

      Interview

First there was the situation judgment test, very easy. Then there was a phone interview, also very straight forward, just competency based question were you must give examples of past experiences and relate them to essential skills, this wasn't an interactive interview, the interviewer just asked the questions and typed up my answers. After this I was invited to an assessment centre in Manchester. This was very disorganised, with all the candidates being told to turn up an hour before the staff were actually expecting us to be there, and only one interviewer actually turned up on the day. We were told to prepare a 15 min presentation on a case study given to us a week before, however due to the lack of time and only one interviewer, we had to do joint presentations with another candidate and cut the presentations down to 10 mins, which was very frustrating given the amount of time spent preparing. The group exercise was fun and challenging. The face-to-face interview was very informal and was a combination of competency questions and CV based questions. I left the assessment centre with a very negative view of Capgemini.

      Interview

Interview process was smooth and informative. Process tested knowledge of the company and technical skill set which was tough. Assessment was engaging and felt comfortable to perform. At the assessment center it was a great addition to have previous graduates of the program speak honestly about their experience.
