Capgemini is worst company to work, Leadership people don't have brains. Don't know how to manage your resource, treating each one of them like sheep and slaves. No hike, No promotion for people who working with you? Only Management and Leadership people are getting huge profit hike from the company and paid out good. e.g.Managers, Senior Manager, Director, Senior Director and so on. From Software Engineer to Senior consultant are not getting anything . People who praise the management they are paid out well like each year promotion and good hike. If your planning to join capgemini, You should have the skill set like how to be became a professional licker to Management and Leadership toes. You life will be happy.

1>Pros is that capgemini do give well training on basic technical things via the "CIS academy" which is really good for a begineer to start with. If you do better in that you should be given product training which is also good. 2> Salary is decent for a analyst to start your career.

1>Me alongwith 2/3 friends who did very well in CIS academy trainings and even in product traning as we ranked in top 3 but our deployment happened totally on absurd basis(i.e. nothing related to our academic performance). Your performance is not related to your deployment to a good project. Its all luck. 2>There is so much politics on floor in kolkata premises which hampers a really good employer to work. Never ever join Kolkata as in job location if you really serious about your career prospect. 3>Even your performance in the team decided by your manager which totally on luck. They can give you better ratings if you really deliver your work seamlessly but they won't mentioning some nonsense tactics. 4>There is no variable pay.

As one of Capgemini's customer recently shared that Capgemini is a company that truly cares for its customers. I've been associated with the company for 15 years now. I joined as a sub-contractor and through the years I was provided with opportunities to grow and excel. So, I certainly agree with what Customers say about Capgemini. For Capgemini is not only their customers but also their own employees that matter. I'm glad to have been associated for the past 15 years with Capgemini. It is a great company to be associated with.

Work environment is good. Work pressure is based on ur project. Growth on ur technical skills based on ur project.

Salary is too less compare to other companies and also who ever working with us in the same project same work are earning more because they came form another company with 2 years experience. If I'm beeing in the same company for 3 years.

* Pay is good if you are experienced and switching into this company. * Senior Management is good as they wish and send goodies during Indian Festivals. * Encourages and focuses on upskilling, there is CON here it will be mentioned later

* I heard it has more number of production support projects than development. * Even after upskilling company hasn't really provided relevant projects. * There is always a big ugly politics between BFSI and NON BFSI, they tend to bully resources in a professional way. * Hike is okay like other companies. * Shift allowance is very bad. You can't even by a half plate biriyani with the amount.

★ Don't join as a fresher -- Do not expect growth in your career if you are joining as a fresher. The organization's slogan is "Get the Future You Want" but they do not care for employees (especially fresher). The organization decides your future by putting you on an irrelevant project where you can't expect growth in knowledge. ★ Puts you on a project irrespective of your skills. Provides you with training on one technology and you get a whole different project. ★ Freshers mostly work here to support the applications. Freshers usually do not get dream projects. ★ Hike is too low. You hardly get recognition even if you work very hard. ★ HRs do not respond on time. You can attend lots of doubt-solving sessions with them but then also if you want some clarity HRs do not respond even if you send them emails or ping them personally. ★ Don't give clarity of the project and role before putting you on the project.
