I applied online for Shanghai office and got a phone interview. The interviewer is a member of the corporate banking team and she asked a lot of questions about my resume. She told me I passed the phone interview at the end and I got invited to a group interview five days later.
Annoying and they asked 80% technicals on capital allocation theory. They asked me literally one question about my background and myself. Both interviewers were smug and distant. Show me some love
3 round process which mostly consisted of fit questions and tested overall knowledge of CB products. Also have an understanding of the macroeconomic environment, specifically when interviewing with senior staff. Overall good experience.
The interview process was split over 4 stages as detailed below:
Stage 1: Online test
Stage 2: 2 interviews with team leads
Stage 3: 3 interviews with product partners
Stage 4: 1 interview with the head of CB
