I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Dell Technologies (Austin, TX) in Jan 2013
Interview
Timeline for initial communications, scheduling interviews, and getting application feedback were good. Timeline for screening, interviewing, and offer/no offer made was in line with expectations. Expectations from a job scheduling stand point were not always made clear.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
the question was regards to a very specific technical specification regarding Dell equipment that is not one an interviewee would typically expect. Typically industry hardware and software topics would be expected.
It was quite candid, asked about projects. Asked whether I am comfortable in working in night shift. Gave a complete scenario based question of a tech support, mentioned about customer empathy
I interviewed at Dell Technologies (Gurgaon, Haryana)
Interview
Very smooth interview process. The interview process was smooth, well organized, and professional. Communication was clear, interviewers were respectful, and each stage felt structured. Overall, it was a positive, efficient, and welcoming experience.
The interview process will consist of a single round, during which you will be expected to engage with two to three other interviewers simultaneously. The questions posed will primarily focus on your ability to manage and handle tasks effectively in a work environment. This format is designed to assess not only your individual skills and competencies but also your ability to collaborate and communicate with others under pressure. Be prepared to provide detailed examples and demonstrate your problem-solving abilities as you navigate through the interview.
