Epsilon Interview Questions

There are only two rounds - first round is 30 mins and just an overall screening, second round includes 4 separate 30 mins interviews. The second round has some behavioral / circumstantial questions, but nothing too difficult.

Process of Interview Selection:- 1. first step:- Resume Sortlist. 2. Second Step:- Telephonic Interview. 3. Third Step:- Technical Interview. 4. Fourth Step:-HR. 5. Fifth Step:- send the Offer letter. 6. Sixth Step:- Immediate Joining.

Good info shared during our first call, Recruiting team and the interviewers took their time providing good insight about the role and about the team. Great info on benefits and culture, very thorough.

I had a phone screen and Teams video interview which were very simple, get-to-know-you type interviews. They let me know that there was an assignment to test my skills (which wasn’t out of the ordinary). The confusing part is first I was told that I’d be sent a file to perform SQL queries on. Then I was told that I’d be taking a 30min quiz on SQL queries. When the time came, I was given an a link to a platform called mettl (not a widely known platform, most companies use Hackerrank). Once I entered the platform, I discovered I had 30min to complete 5 sections different from what they said I’d be tested on, none of which had to do with data analysis or what I would do on the job. Instead the additional sections were on Linux and the specifics of PL/SQL. So I completed the MYSQL section and reached out to ask about the other sections which weren’t mentioned in the job description nor mentioned during my phone screens. They claimed that “as long as you answered the SQL area” it was fine. I’m confident that I did well, but despite my Python experience, my SQL experience, with multiple links to my GitHub with projects demonstrating my skills, and certifications on my resume, they deemed me not a fit for the role. It’s odd that after reaching out to me twice and everything going so smoothly, they didn’t see me as a fit, possibly for blindsiding me with this quiz.

Gave two rounds. First one was intro round. 2nd one was technical round which went well. But I was ghosted after that. Recruiters don’t bother about your emails. Don’t know what they are looking for as they keep posting same job every now and then.

Laid off from FAANG and was looking for the next role. A recruiter reached out to schedule a phone interview. After giving my availability, the recruiter ghosted me for 3 weeks and sent a rejection. I guess this was to be expected by a low-tier recruiter at a lower-tier company.

Initial phone screen happened very quickly and was professional and efficient. Was scheduled for a second interview with the HM 4 days later which was cancelled 30 minutes in advance. Could not be rescheduled for 4 weeks. Went well, was verbally told I would be moving forward for a panel and potential project then, 3 weeks later told I was being passed on.

It was very fun, it was very cool, and it was very sick. All in all, had a grande old time and would do it again ten out of ten. I wonder if this is thirty words yet
