      No offer
      Accepted offer

      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at IBM (Poughkeepsie, NY)

      Interview

Only one behavioral interview, and it was pretty chill. Before the interview, the interviewer sent me information about their team’s work and the IBM products the team worked with. We started the interview by discussing both of these topics, as well as any questions I had about the material. After learning about the team, they asked me questions based on my resume and had me talk about my projects, coursework, and clubs. They also asked me some standard behavioral questions related to the resume things we discussed. There weren’t too many technical questions, except for a few small clarifying ones about specific projects I had mentioned and the tools I used in those projects.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

I mentioned a VLSI project and they asked if I was familiar with DRC/LVS/PEX tools and what they were for.

      Interview

Pretty simple. They explain what the job will be like and just ask what you know with 2-3 simple behavioral questions mixed in. Majority of it was him explaining what they work on.
