I applied through college(NIT JAMSHEDPUR).
i entered the interview room and wished the interviewer by his name(Somnath das sir)
he smiled and shook hand with me and asked me to introduce myself in precise way.Then he asked why i had dropped a year after 12th. itold him abojut my rank in jee advance and then he went to m y hobby the first hobby teaching was taken into discussion and then why you like teaching , whom do you gteach, etc. then he sked me about m y favourite subject. itold him about power system. and then he asked me to discuss the same subject .he asked about transformers which are being used at generating and transmitting end . can we use battery for stepping up or down any voltage, is the conservation of energy principle not violated in the process of step up or down of v or i level. then asked about my views on it sector. after to hat he asked me why i wanted to join ibm.where i see myself after 5 years.then he asked me about m y innovative project upon which i have been working. he then asked me to discuss anything if i had any doubt. i asked him what are the chances that just after joining company i would be able to work on my project and also asked about the role of associate system engineer.after a healthy and interesting interview. we shook hands and bidding thank you i left the room saying it was a nu=ice experience being interviewed by you ,he said same here .

It was great ez they asked me pretty basic stuff such as palindrome and string manipulation and the interviewer was a bit frank with me he and i did some chit chat for a bit as occured that we were from same town

Question 1
The one thing that they asked me was what technology are u familiar with that IBM uses
The process was okay but the result of the interview took so much time. NO reply to the mails as well. interview was offline and has 3 different rounds. one language round, then coding round and then interview.
First round was a language round that was conducted online. We were asked multiple simple questions in English to test our listening, speaking and reading skills. The next round was a coding assessment round. We were shown two questions of easy-medium level difficulty from the competitive coding website Hacker Rank. The 3rd round was a behavioral assessment round where we were given 5 questions and for each question we were allotted 5 mins to answer before the system automatically submits and goes to the next question. The questions were similar to "Explain about a situation where your leadership allowed for a problem to be solved" etc. The last round was the interview round where they asked both technical and non technical questions. The technical questions that were asked where from the projects we have made that were noted down on our resumes.
