I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at IBM

      Interview

Contacted by Campus Recruiter; asked if interested in Public Sector (DC positions) or Commercial Sector. Stated interested in Commercial Sector then informed I will be contacted if I was selected for in-person interviews. Once selected interviews were the next week in Chicago; candidates from all over the country were flown in for three rounds of interviews (Fit/Technical Background, IT Case Study and Behavioral Analysis. All the interviewers were extremely detailed, perceptive, intelligent, and watchful of words, body language and communication style during the interview. All interactions seemed to be judged and studied. During the Case Study a business problem was presented and candidate is expected to have a conversation about the case were your though process and intuition and creativity are assessed. Stay away from writing down every detail presented and focus on having a conversation. Each interviewer had extensive experience and multiple global responsibilities that serviced all the top companies globally. Looking back it is apparent that IBM values pristine communication, creativity and technical prowess.
