I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Intuit (Mountain View, CA)
Interview
Interview process sounded interesting. First phone interview with hiring manager and then a panel interview where the interviewee presents a demo on a topic that the hiring manager has chosen. Lastly, break out interviews with the entire panel 1:1
The problem was with the interview itself. It was an interrogation more than an interview. Every question was being asked to steal ideas and not to gauge how I would be right for the position. Extremely negative experience! Will never go there again and will also warn friends and family.

Ghosted, after putting in so much time and effort. I don't think that there is any excuse for ghosting candidates, after multiple follow ups. Its understandable that sometimes situations might have changed, say the role is being put on hold. But the least one can do is to acknowledge that they are working on providing an update.
There is a high level of accountability problem across the board for recruiters these days. They have one job (literally there is someone else for scheduling).
I won't be naming names, but what goes around comes around. After all Its a small recruiters' market.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Intuit (Mountain View, CA) in Sept 2024
Interview
A recruiter on Linkedin reached out about a specific role. I had a 30 minute screening interview with questions around experience and career goals. I was asked to do an urgent interview with the hiring manager the same day. I did not hear back after, even after reaching out to the recruiter. Pretty rude after accommodating their schedule.
