First, you apply to the program online. Pretty standard application with resume drop and experiences, you select preferred locations and fill out other miscellaneous info. Then it's a HireVue. After the HireVue, I'm pretty sure it's a superday.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you worked in a team with a conflict
Relatively easy interview process, three rounds: was mostly all behavioral. all rounds were virtual over zoom. the last round they pressed me a bit more regarding my specific experience and following up on how it was relevant to this role
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan (London, England) in Oct 2024
Interview
First stage was the HireVue interview that focused on motivational and behavioural questions. There were six questions in total, with one minute to prepare and two minutes to respond to each question.
Following that, I attended a virtual assessment center, which involved:
1. A 15-minute presentation, followed by a 15-minute Q&A session on the presentation.
2. Two 30-minute interviews (1 hour), where I was asked behavioural, motivational, and a few technical questions.
- A key point of focus across all three interviews was understanding why I chose this particular role and demonstrating a solid grasp of the different functions within the division. This question came up in every interview, so it’s important to be well-prepared for it.
Overall, the interviewers were very welcoming and supportive, which made the experience reassuring. However, it’s crucial to practice your responses.
