I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (Almaty) in Feb 2017
Interview
There are 4 rounds of interviews to get into KPMG Advisory. First is with HR manager, where one asks about your career plans. The second is with managers in your selected department, where they ask work specific theoretical questions (mine was corporate finance). The next round is with a director, where one challenges your theoretical knowledge once again. The final interview session is with a partner, where you just chat showing you would fit into the company culture.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at KPMG (Singapore)
Interview
After submitting my CV, there was a virtual interview and they asked a market sizing question + why I wanted to join the specific department. They also asked about stuff in my CV and it was overall pretty manageable, they don't expect you to know much as an intern.
It was an hour long with 2 hiring manager and HR. Whole process was like one round to offer. This spanned around 2 weeks in total from HR reach out to offer letter.
The interview process at KPMG was straightforward but rigorous. I completed an online assessment, followed by a video interview, and then a panel interview with case questions. The team was professional, and the timeline was reasonable, taking about a month from application to offer.
