I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (Atlanta, GA) in Sept 2015
Interview
Was a quick initial 30 minute interview process. It began with behavioral interview questions but only about two were asked, the rest of the time we talked and expanded upon the questions. It was very conversational, the interviewer was very easy to talk to and made the environment comfortable. The process took around a week leading up to finding out about my first round interview, however, they took about 3 weeks to get back to about it. I was not invited for a second interview.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at KPMG (Singapore)
Interview
After submitting my CV, there was a virtual interview and they asked a market sizing question + why I wanted to join the specific department. They also asked about stuff in my CV and it was overall pretty manageable, they don't expect you to know much as an intern.
My interview process went smoothly and required little to no preparation. The questions were all general in nature and were just an overview of my resume. Very low stress interview process.
It was an hour long with 2 hiring manager and HR. Whole process was like one round to offer. This spanned around 2 weeks in total from HR reach out to offer letter.
