Applied this position through my university career web site. Had a phone interview with MS HR staff. The whole interview took place for around 30 mins. First walked through my resume and then asked for some brain teaser questions. Maybe I was not answer these brain teaser questions very well, so got rejected by MS.

Question 1
There are two stocks with the same expected value, with variance 0.3 and 0.2 and correlation 0.5. What proportion of each stock do you invest in to yield a minimum risk portfolio?
For the first round I was given a 60 minute online assessment that had questions on math (there was a lot of probability and calculus), finance, financial math and programming.
1st round: Phone interview with VP or Director from different teams, 30 minutes for each team. Ask experience on resume and some tech questions about math, programming and statistics.
