I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at SAP (Bengaluru) in Dec 2011
Interview
Had a written test online (MCQ's) which consisted of three major sections and was time bound:
a) General Aptitude (approx 1 min per question) - tough
b) Advance Computer Skills (C, C++, Java, RDBMS , OOAD) (approx: 2-3 min per question) -very tough
c) English Proficiency (1 min per question - very easy)
After clearing online test was informed a few days later via email and was asked to attend a tech manager interview after 15 days
Tech Interview Went on with RDBMS questions, C++ Basics and data structure and was asked to write few programs.
After Interview waited for 8 days to get result and had a telephone interview for HR and
later after 2 days received the good news
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Design DB for High end system according to constraints which were mentioned and changed every now and then.
I interviewed at SAP (Walldorf, Baden-Wurttemberg)
Interview
The SAP interview process included an initial screening, technical discussion, problem-solving questions, experience-based conversations, and behavioral assessment, followed by an opportunity to discuss role expectations and ask questions with interviewers.
Interview process was okayish, focused on candidates with AI and RAG skills, if you have built projects you have a chance, otherwise you may be rejected after the online test.
It is an in-person interview, which was smooth and conversational. We discussed my background, reviewed my work, talked through role-related questions, and ended with a clear sense of the team, expectations, and next steps.
