I applied online and in the same day, received a call from a very likely overseas office. They told me I could interview the following week and that she will send me details about the interview date, time and place.
Come Monday, I received the email for the interview. I went to the interview, there were two people. Firstly, they went over to explain what the job is about. They went over my resume asking behavioral questions about specific points, while writing down my answers. After this, they asked a brain teaser question to test a candidate's problem-solving skills.

O primeiro contato com a recrutadora é um pouco confuso, eles encaminham algumas perguntas por e-mail no primeiro contato, depois a recrutadora entra em contato e faz exatamente as mesmas perguntas. Mas imagino que seja para testar o nível de inglês.
Ich wurde überraschenderweise von 2 Herren begrüßt anstelle des einen angekündigten. Einer war der angegündigte Manager der Abteilung, der andere Mann ein Inder. Vorgestellt wurde er mir als ausländischer Kollege der gerade in Deutschland zu Besuch ist und gerne mal ein Vorstellungsgespräch in Deutschland miterleben möchte. Ich wurde gefragt ob dies für mich ein Problem sei und ob wir deswegen, damit der Kollege es verstehen kann, das gesamte Gespräch auf englisch führen können. Ich willigte natürlich ein.
Ich wurde zu meinem Lebenslauf und meinen Fähigkeiten befragt, sollte ein paar Sachen etwas tiefer erklären, nachdem ich den Überblick gegeben hatte und dann kam die Beschreibung von Seiten des Managers. Letztlich stellte sich dann heraus, dass ich hier von Anfang bis Ende angelogen wurde.
Die Stelle entspricht dessen Beschreibung in keinster Weise!
