Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at SMA (Washington, DC (US)) in February 2017.

Interview

The hiring and interview process was very well organized, and quickly and efficiently conducted. The interviewers were highly experienced and that supported discussions covering general topics to complex, detail tactics, techniques and procedures. The recruiting manager was responsive to my inquiries, and move things along at a rapid pace, which saved a lot of time. Well done!

I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at SMA.

    Interview

A staffing agency was handling the process. I was interviewed by 2 Account Executives who both had a need. They were both looking for slightly different skills, so it was a little difficult to answer questions and cover all my bases.

    Interview Questions

    • I don't recall a very difficult or unexpected question. They were pretty standard but it became more of a dialogue where it was more conversational than a one-sided interview.   Answer Question

    Negotiation

I didn't negotiate because the offer was far higher than I expected.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at SMA.

    Interview

The process began with one of their recruiters finding me online requesting that I talk with the hiring managers. After talking with me they invited me out for an interview at their home office in Irvine, CA. They fly you out, put you up in a hotel for the night, then fly you back the next day. The interview itself was moderately difficult with some technical scheduling questions. The interview itself lasted roughly an hour, mine being very intimate, just the VP of PP&C asking the questions in his office.

    Interview Questions

    Negotiation

I came back with a higher rate, of which they accepted without renegotiation.
