I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Stryker (New York, NY) in Jan 2017
Interview
1. I was initially contacted by a recruiter who ran me through a 30 minute interview.
2. I was passed along to an hour long face to face with a regional manager.
3. After that I participated in a Gallup interview, which was a personality assessment.
4. After that I completed a ride along with a sales rep in the territory to see the day to day.
5. Then, I was asked to present a 30 minute case study presentation to a sales rep and regional manager.
6. Finally, I was given the green light to sit down with the Director of Sales for an hour long face to face.
This was the most challenging interview process I've experienced. The process took about 5 weeks and was based on merit, past sales experience, personality, and motivations. You can tell that if they extend you an offer, it is truly because you deserve it!
If you can get through this process, no interview will ever intimidate you ever again!
Just had my phone interview, I think it went well. Basic questions why medical device sales why Stryker etc. and some behavioral questions. going to the next step now, so far so good
I applied online. I interviewed at Stryker (Vancouver, BC) in Apr 2026
Interview
Interview was conducted remotely from a representative outside of the country. While I understand the company is a large corporate entity, the Interview process felt impersonal and like the role itself was not particularly important

Question 1
Please give an example of one time you worked as a member of a team to solve a problem.
I was emailed to interview for a position in my city. I spent 2 days preparing and took time off from my current position only to get a call from the recruiter that the position i was interviewing for was filled already. They wanted to know if i was interested in relocating cities. I found the lack of communication to be very strange. A simple email would've been productive as i was super excited about the opportunity to even get the interview! Disappointing!
