Just like the rest of the interviews that were explained prior to mine on GlassDoor, I went through that multistep hiring process. It was long and strenuous. The STL that I first spoke to after the recruiter was very nice and cordial. She made me feel at home and we go along very easily. But as I reached the third interview, I felt that the bureaucratic portion of Target came in; they got an individual who was out of their jurisdiction to talk to me and I felt unwelcome in the interview. I understand that all of you who are trying to get this job are doing the best you can, but sometimes the cards are not in your favor simply because the interviewer does not like you, has a headache, or just do not feel genuinely interested in you. Target is a great company to work for and the service is great, but there will always be those employees who just do not care about your future and will dismiss your candidacy because they had a difficult day. Keep your head up and be cheery and you will be fine.
