I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Tiger Analytics (New York, NY) in Dec 2023
Interview
I recently had the displeasure of interacting with Tiger Analytics and must say it was a frustrating and unprofessional experience from start to finish. After a screening call with one of their recruiters, I was asked about my availability for a technical round. Despite promptly providing my availability for the upcoming days, I didn't hear anything back for a whole month.
Out of the blue, I received an email inviting me to a technical round interview, scheduled for the very next day. While I appreciate the opportunity, the suddenness of the invite left me scrambling to rearrange my schedule to accommodate it. This lack of consideration for candidates' time was the first red flag in my interaction with Tiger Analytics.
Nevertheless, I managed to attend the technical round, hoping that it would lead to a smoother process ahead. However, it's been a staggering two months since the interview, and I've heard nothing from Tiger Analytics. Despite reaching out multiple times to inquire about the status of my application, I have been met with silence.
This complete lack of communication and transparency is unacceptable. It reflects poorly on Tiger Analytics' professionalism and leaves candidates feeling disregarded and undervalued. It's evident that their recruitment process is disorganized and inefficient, with little regard for the candidates' time or experience.
I strongly advise potential candidates to think twice before considering a career opportunity with Tiger Analytics. If this is how they treat candidates during the recruitment process, one can only imagine the lack of support and consideration one might receive as an employee.
