Uber Strategic Partner Manager - India interview questions

Had applied through their website for the position of Strategic Partner Manager - India. After being shortlisted by their HR, I was interviewed by the Functional Manager first (Functional Manager seemed happy & was looking forward to meet me) & was scheduled for another round of interview with Business Development Lead - India. That never took place as the HR coordinator called up to first let me know that the position is being put on "hold" and then got an email saying "they have moved in a different direction". Deeply disappointed with total lack of professionalism on their part. Why select a candidate for an interview if you do not want to close the loop? Seems Business Development Lead - India felt I wasn't the right fit even before meeting me!
