I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at athenahealth
Interview
Recruiter interview - The recruiter is screening you and talking about your experience to see if you are a fit for the role. Casual conversation mixed with key interview questions, Manager interview - If the recruiter feels like you are a fit and passes notes along to the hiring manager. My experience was more of a casual conversation trying to pin down my past management experience and seeing if I was the correct culture fit. I was then interviewed by another manager that was currently in the role I was interviewing for. I was asked more typical behavioral interview questions. F2F Interview in local office - I was asked to meet with 6 people across 3 hours of interviews, more specifically, two people per hour. For each hour about 50% was dedicated to telling me more about the organization so I had a clear indication of what they were about. It wasn't all about drilling me with questions. Questions were a mix of behavioral, legacy and case scenario questions. The company paid for expenses to interview out of town and were very considerate of my schedule. The entire process was very positive. I wanted to go to work for the company because of the way I was treated in the hiring process.

4 round of interview 1 with client. 1 with team manager and hr discussion. Last round very typical and smart to answer. Process is too slow. Taken 3 months for overall process
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at athenahealth (Bengaluru)
Interview
I appreciated the opportunity to engage in the initial interview stages, which were constructive and aligned with my professional experience. However, I observed a change in the interview process’s structure reducing initial meeting invite from 1 hr to 30 mins and tone during the executive director round, which seemed incongruent with the previous interactions. As an experienced PM with additional Cloud Architect certifications, I believe that a comprehensive understanding of technology enhances my ability to manage programs effectively, bridging the gap between technical teams and strategic project goals. Thanks for their consideration but I would say that for a manager role your are making panels from Executive director levels whose thinking and expectations might be completely different from the actual Job Role. This is first time I have encountered such interview process in India with vast experience in IT field. May be that's Athenahealth interview process. After the overall process I felt that US senior Management especially those who are from Virence are arrogant in nature. I know few current people who have shared such experiences as well with me. I believe Athenahealth has lost its earlier organizational charm. Also recruiter should check with all the panel members before scheduling interview for a candidate as it is a wastage of every body's time and likehood of success is less if everyone has different expectations and view points about a candidate.
