Interview Details:
Interview Type: Walk-in Drive
Location: Airoli (Feb 17, 2026)
Interview Process:
I attended the eClerx walk-in drive at Airoli. The process has multiple stages, but it is straightforward if you know what to expect. Here is a breakdown of how my day went:
Round 1: Initial HR & Written Task
First, they ask a few quick questions to check your basics: What is KYC/AML, Derivatives, and OTC (Over the counter)? They will also ask if you have any employee references and if you are comfortable working night shifts.
During this round, there is an email writing test. You have to sit outside with the other candidates and handwrite an email on the back of your resume. My topic was to write an email to HR asking when my joining date would be confirmed. After finishing, you submit the resume and wait for the next round.
Round 2: HR Communication
This round is mostly to test how well you speak. The interviewer asked:
Tell me about yourself.
Explain derivatives and their types.
What is M&A?
What are the benefits of working out?
My advice here is just to be confident. They give the results for this round very quickly. If you are selected, they will ask you to fill out a declaration form.
Round 3: Online Aptitude Test
Next, I got a link on my email for the aptitude test. The actual test is 90 minutes long, but you have to take a 30-minute mock test first to understand the format. It has a few sections:
English Communication: You have to read statements aloud from the screen, speak on a random topic for 30 seconds, and answer fill-in-the-blank grammar questions.
Essay Writing: You have to type a short essay (max 150 words). Do not copy-paste anything from the internet, as the system will catch it.
Math & Logical Reasoning: The questions were easy to moderate.
Important: The test is heavily monitored by AI. Keep your room quiet because the mic is on, and make sure nobody walks into your camera frame.
Round 4: Technical Round
HR assigned a manager for my technical interview. They focused heavily on my resume and finance basics. Questions included:
Tell me about yourself.
Explain any 3 financial ratios.
What is DCF?
Explain derivatives and types of swaps.
Round 5: Managerial Round
I'm not exactly sure why, but my interview was rescheduled with the same manager for the final round. Here, they asked:
What is depreciation?
What is a trade?
What is the journal entry for the sale of a property?
Some standard HR questions.
A Few Extra Tips:
If you fail the aptitude test, don't lose hope. They might give you a second chance (this happened to a friend of mine, and she was able to retake it).
If things don't go perfectly in the technical round, they sometimes change the manager and reschedule you for another try. Just stay confident throughout the day!
