Python Developer (Django & FastAPI)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Python Developer with strong expertise in Django and FastAPI to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in backend development, API integrations, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python, Django, and FastAPI

• Build RESTful APIs and ensure high performance and responsiveness

• Integrate third-party APIs and services

• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security

• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams

• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code

• Debug, test, and maintain existing applications

• Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Python

• Hands-on experience with Django (mandatory)

• Strong experience with FastAPI (mandatory)

• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code

• Experience in building REST APIs

• Knowledge of ORMs (Django ORM, SQLAlchemy)

• Experience with PostgreSQL / MySQL

• Integrate third-party APIs and services

• Understanding of authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth)

• Familiarity with Git and version control

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Good to Have:

• Experience with Docker & CI/CD pipelines

• Knowledge of AWS / GCP / Azure

• Familiarity with Celery, Redis

• Basic understanding of frontend frameworks (React/Angular)

• Experience with microservices architecture

Experience:

• 1+ years of experience in Python development

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Django & FastAPI
