Following the divestment of its Tech Services business in September 2025, Tieto today consists of vertical software & services businesses Care, Banking and Industry as well the digital consulting arm Create. Tieto is now building on the embedded strong foundation, including the talent of 14 000 experts around the world. As part of driving its strategic priorities focused on customer first -mindset, simplified core and selective international expansion, Tieto is renewing its brand. The new brand brings to life the energizing and impact-driven approach on technology and considers the company’s heritage as well as geographically expanding footprint by opting for simpler and meaningful Tieto as the company name. Tieto means “data, information, and knowledge” in Finnish. “This is a pivotal time for our company as AI transforms the industry. Our new brand will help us demonstrate our commitment to customer success and energize key initiatives, including improving sales and AI expertise. While looking ahead, we also value our heritage—having operated since 1968 gives our name meaning in an increasingly artificial world.
