Pros

Ok salaries and can be interesting and varied if the consultant was allowed to do their job.

Cons

The environment is very oppressive in travel. They are not loyal to their staff and are always looking to find a reason to put you on "counselling" which means you don't get your incentives. They always come up with new rules to make sure you don't get your incentives and always feel like you are about to loose your job. They will take your incentive away even if the client was grading your call on AMEX and NOT YOUR SERVICE! You can be out of a job very easily here, even when you give great customer service and sales.

Pros

They have fantastic pay for the position you're in, and they teach you interesting and engaging utility of modern technology mixed with legacy fundamentals. I've learned quite a bit while AmEx while getting paid more than fairly - I'd recommend a stretch here to whomever may be reading this!

Cons

The Company is huge, and at times it may take more than a little time to get recognized for your abilities and the growth you've had. There's a reason there is a "only way up is out" reputation exists for some enterprise companies...
