Experience & expertise is undervalued in favour of executive team bonuses. Salaries are below market (current role is + 45k p.a). One half of the company is disengaged, micro-managed and disillusioned while the other half pat themselves on the back, Constant restructuring & cost cutting in product and service areas while simultaneously recruiting executive leadership and sales is a bad look.

I am assuming your feedback is made in the context of the transformation we have been through over the past 18 months. This was a tough process for the company and for our people but it was required to re-invent our world-class core platforms and capabilities, and to position us for future success. The improved performance we’re now delivering is validation of the changes made and of the collective focus we have across all areas of Iress.

People, Good central office (Melbourne) Staff benefits are ok

Cons

Engineering management is a let down - poor behaviours, micromanagement, lack of trust - the list can go on. Seems to get swept under the carpet or ignored so patterns continue to fester and have for years.
