      Pros

      I chose to work at KPMG because it has high aspirations from its Consulting Practice in Canada. I believe with a renewed focus on building the consulting practice, there would be ample opportunities of growth and impact at all tiers in the firm.

      Cons

      KPMG Consulting in Canada is doing a great job at expanding into new sectors and clients. However, one of the hottest sectors in Canada - Oil & Gas is not on the radar of KPMG.

      Pros

      Good Benefits - Get the week of the fourth of July and the week of Christmas off every year.

      Cons

      They say we are doing well but everyone is stagnant. No real opportunities to get promoted or raises. Gone through 3 layoffs. Management says that no one is leaving because they love working there but no one is leaving because the market is bad. That is the reason for a backlog of folks trying to move up.
