Pros

Great benefits and smart people.

Cons

Definitely depends on which team you join. But I did not receive much guidance and support. I made a mistake and was immediately booted from the project. The project itself was poorly staffed as there were only a few consultants actually doing the technical work and one of them would work constant 10-12 hour days. I place a lot of the blame on myself for not asking more questions during the interview process and letting the quality of my work slip, but it doesn't change the fact that the project was not run with work life balance consideration of its consultants and only cared about bending to every whim of the client.

Pros

It might sound cliche but the Pro for me is the people that I work with. I'm lucky enough to be staffed in a team with great leadership. Managers are actually willing to coach junior members and be a real mentor. I very much appreciate their efforts.

Cons

Long hours and office politics. This is pretty basic and obvious for any public accounting firms. Every time a quarter end, year end, or a special filing is going out, you can expect 10-14 hour days. It might be fine in your early career but it gets really tiring after a few years.
