Pros

Very dynamic and very innovative company with a lot of opportunities to grow and develop yourself. A lot of nice and well educated people of different art and personalities. Company supports people development as well as the people themselves. Be ready to be dynamic person and flexible as company moves very fast and changes internally also fast. Be ready for continues learning and self development - company gives you a lot of opportunities to learn, and expects you to grow continuously. Company gives a lot of flexibility in term of your time - flexible working time, flexible hours and even location. The main focus is on the tasks assigned to you being completed. This means - be sure you commit to what is possible to deliver, otherwise it might lead to overtime, which in most cases is not compensated. Be aware: this is a big international company - networking is a key for the career development, and for the daily business. A lot of things are happening in the same time - hence you will be in the situation when something happens and you are not aware of it - keep networking to be simply up to date. In some cases even relocation to other countries and regions is possible. if you young, talented and get to the high potential pool - you might get into the job rotation mode (very selected group of employees). Be ready to move and grow within the company, if you are about to make a management career - be active in this regards. All in all - a nice place to work.

Cons

In some cases internal move is not easy due to multiple reasons, for instance: Due to the support of gender equality: women might be promoted despite better man candidates; The same is related to the age: reaching certain age / seniority level potential opportunities are getting narrower, as many new positions are opened primarily expecting younger people to join and with lower salary groups. The compensation system has been simplified in a way that over-performance is not really supported in form of money (exception is in the sales area). The same is true in regards to the salary increase - be ready to have slow gradual yearly increases - keep it in mind when you negotiate your starting salary. Learn the salary (grades) system - it determines your salary growth.

Pros

I really liked my role at SAP. After being a cloud Customer Success Manager supporting strategic clients for several years, I moved into a group doing digital customer outreach including producing newsletters, release enablement, webcasts, documentation, event registrations, etc. Salary and bonuses were good, no complaints there.

Cons

No real cons for the job that I was in, except that our group was eliminated by the corporate restructuring and reduction in workforce in North America in 2025. I would have loved to stay but unfortunately we probably showed up on a restructuring spreadsheet somewhere and it was determined that our services were no longer needed. We off-boarded most of our work to other existing employees (who already had full time jobs), which felt unfair to them, but that is how it shook out.
