Pros
The training they implemented in the spring of 2021 is great, especially if you’re in a delivery center. I learned how to recruit here.
Cons
This company is so backwards I don’t even know where to start. The base pay is nearly unlivable - $45k starting. The commission structure starts at 1%! When I left TEK I found places that were paying double the base salary and had a starting commission of 10%. They won’t let you do 360 recruiting. The management does not care about anyone. They spew a bunch of BS about caring about your career growth but if it doesn’t work for them, then you’re stuck where you are forever until you inevitably leave because they’re constantly pushing good, ambitious people out the door. The culture is so unprofessional. I worked in a delivery center that had people drinking at noon, hitting on their coworkers consistently, and even had someone pee in public at the Christmas party, had the cops called on them, and didn’t get penalized. Their “ideals” are ass-backwards, too. Nothing management does makes sense and they’re all a bunch of old white guys who don’t care about you. They also push you to spill your deepest secrets in front of the entire company (with some people breaking down in tears) which is so manipulative. This is the type of place that calls themselves a “family” to blur the lines between normal work life and your home life and personal commitments, but will never think twice about you after you leave.
