Pros
Very flexible work/life balance. For Nashville employees, the job functions are unique to the area and definitely look good on a resume. It’s interesting work that makes you feel meaningful in the industry. Great place for a college kid to put some stuff on their resume. Generally very nice people around the office.
Cons
Pay below industry standard. The age old, gotta kiss up to move up applies significantly here. There is a large gap and disconnect between employees and management. Morale is not the greatest across the board, from Stamford to New York to Weehawken to even Nashville. There was a concentrated effort to keep the morale in Nashville high for a few years, which gave way to typical corporate disconnect from above. Sitting in a town hall and listening to a senior manager brag about his juiced up car was a disgrace. There is a lot of turnover, from very senior management down to entry level employees.
