      Pros

      Big bank and wealth management franchise creates opportunities at scale, especially in terms of soft client flow

      Cons

      Culture is extremely risk averse and toxic, traders are unskilled relative to other banks as they lean so heavily on client flow only, without an ability or mandate to take on risk intelligently. Systems outdated. Integration with credit suisse an absolute mess with many toxic power plays and missed opportunities.

      Good Learning opportunities, Tech savvy compared to other banking / fintech companies

      Cons

      Too much offshore, low cost resource strategies, Gap between functional & IT resources, CS merger favored many UBS employees and massive layoffs post UBS - CS merger. Hardly any bonus or pay increments.
