Pros

- nice colleagues - big name with good equity story on the market, as management is handling CS integration well for investors, but not for employees.

Cons

- office close to the airport is very boring and the facilities are very basic, food quality is low - HR comes up with new "guidelines" to justify why there can be no promotions - a lot propaganda on Ermotti and Kelleher which gets posted everywhere internally - minimal benefits other than the salary and pension fund - very bureaucratic, slow - will be looking to downsize and get rid of people until 2026 at least - yealy salary increase barely offsetting inflation or not even - we are encouraged to use internal mobility but the process is slow, there are many dummy postings, you don't hear back from recruiters - in ubs there is a rule against everything. Don't even like their social media posts, you will lilkely breach a policy - some people are still in Us vs. Them when it comes to former CS colleagues.

Pros

Good Learning opportunities, Tech savvy compared to other banking / fintech companies

Cons

Too much offshore, low cost resource strategies, Gap between functional & IT resources, CS merger favored many UBS employees and massive layoffs post UBS - CS merger. Hardly any bonus or pay increments.
