Pros
The Pay and benefits are nice.
Cons
Management does not care. Despite working 3 shifts 40+ hours / shift every week their once a month meeting for each shift is done on your time. They are only concerned with Safety Theater and trying to make it look safe. They encourage an atmosphere of distrust by forcing employees to write up safety observations on other employees twice a month to qualify for a quarterly bonus. If you work third shift they care about you even less. First and second get hot meals and an amazing menu. Third, if you catch it right gets a poor excuse for a breakfast menu that resembles a 3 AM nasty wafflehouse visit after a bar crawl. They spend thousands and thousands of dollars on incomplete systems to make it look like they are progressive yet poor planning and training causes massive turnover rates, especially in the warehouse. Forklift drivers are automatically considered at fault for almost any incident including if a pedestrian walks out in front of them from a blind spot. The Pedestrians pay no attention to where they are going and almost seem to find it a challenge to walk in front of forklifts in motion or through doors restricted only to forklift traffic. Two months after I was hired they announced two rounds of layoffs which due to the excessive turnover rate I barely avoided. And then there is the way that Management speaks to you. Numerous people have been to the HR office to report Harassment and extremely unprofessional conduct. But are summarily dismissed with excuses like "That's just the way he is."
