Pros

Normal sales perks… truck and fuel card, company credit card, swag, tech…

Cons

Strap in, this one’s putting it all out there: There’s no TL;DR, you wanna read the whole thing. Absolute nightmare of a company run by toxic leadership from the owners to the corporate office to local management. The people who do come to this company under the premise they’ll be making a positive impact end up being handcuffed by the cancer that is corporate/regional/district management which seems to change it’s structure as frequently as the employees at the branch level do. I won’t use the word leadership here because to me there’s a VERY distinct difference, and there is a huge lack of leadership. Expect to wait hours for responses to emails from anyone outside of your specific location, days or longer if at all for corporate. Favoritism runs rampant through the company from the top down. Locations can’t keep employees long enough to find the bathroom let alone learn how to successfully do their job and the people who have been there for more than 5 minutes are too busy gatekeeping in order to make themselves look good that they’ll throw you under the bus at the first sign of trouble. ZERO training, ZERO support, ZERO communication and ZERO care for you unless you’re working 12+ hour days no matter your position, some techs were pushing 16+ hour days 6 days a week with no break in sight. You’re micromanaged beyond belief and every move is tracked. At this point, if you’re like me, you’re thinking it’s probably not THAT bad and with a positive outlook you’ll be able to make it a better place… it is that bad, and there are many like me that thought that also. The owner of the company even preached during company wide town halls to reach out to him directly with any concerns, so I did. I did this because I didn’t trust anyone else in management between myself and him and I thought he’d be a stand up human who lived up to integrity since it was one of his company’s core values. Then I was put on an involuntary leave of absence, then fired for poor performance though I had ZERO record of performance based discussions or documentation while working there. On the contrary , I actually tried to pitch the solution of a training program that invested time in new employees on all of the things that they’d need to be successful and efficient within the company but it fell on deaf ears in the good ol boys club and nothing changed. In summary, you’ll be overworked, under appreciated, not listened to and taken advantage of. Depending on your location, you may even get the chance to be intimidated, hung up on and have all your questions go unanswered.

Pros

-Recognition of effort -Well-staffed administrative and support team -Compensation programs are designed for maximizing customer service and achieving company financial goals -Company does ask a lot of its people but treats them with respect and delivers great pay packages and benefits -Promotes the best to management including historically underrepresented

Cons

-The company is going public and employees will be expected to work as there is no hiding in the shadows to collect a check -Most in-depth background check in industry but process allows for explanation of job history inconsistency or other red flags -Focus on safety is so important that after the first year you will not be able to watch another interactive video on the workplace -

Pros

I have no idea how this place has 4 stars. The pros were I was paid for my time. Pay checks came on time every other week. That sums up the pros.

Cons

This is the WORST company I have ever worked at! Leadership is consistently poor and shows little interest in changing a toxic recruiting culture. Corporate Recruiters are treated as order takers rather than strategic partners, and recruiting leadership does nothing to push back on that, they simply let the business run the show while the same problems repeat themselves in a cycle. Compensation is consistently below market. Despite the workload and expectations, pay never reflects what roles actually demand. The interview process is unnecessarily convoluted and over-reliant on DISC assessments to a fault. Hiring managers would refuse to consider candidates based on a D or C score alone, bypassing qualified people because of a personality framework rather than actual skills or fit. This creates real barriers to hiring good talent and put recruiters in an impossible position. There is a general culture of rudeness and dismissiveness toward the recruiting function. Rather than being seen as a value-add, recruiters are viewed as administrative support and that attitude comes from the top down. If you are a recruiter or any professional who values being treated as such and having leadership that advocates for the function, this is not the place for you. RUN away don’t walk! There’s a lot of turnover at this company and if you work here, you will see first hand why that is.

Pros

-Jabbok and Willie have a great vision and truly want to create the best work-life balance a company can in such a demanding industry. The company offers a lot of nice perks including "dinner on us", Wellable app, earned time off through health practices, meal planning, they are very generous with tool reimbursements, safety boot reimbursement and the health insurance plan even includes a high deductible plan that is paid in full by the company.

Cons

-Upper management is clueless and has lost sight of what really happens in a branch during day to day operations. -Some of the leadership don't belong where they are, they're too busy talking in metaphors and reminiscing on their glory days as a Branch Manager. They don't spend enough time in a location to truly understand what isn't working. -HR cannot be trusted by employees to do the right thing and they do not practice confidentiality even though they say they do. -There is a HUGE divide between sales and operations and although everyone is aware of it, no one seems to want to change it. -Most sales people are arrogant, rude and only care about themselves and their commissions. -New hires who come in with a lot of experience and great ideas get shunned by the employees who have been there from earlier on, leaving the company to make the same mistakes over and over again. -Upper management is too worried about keeping their jobs instead of actually leading their teams. -Operations is being held accountable for revenue and profit, and sales is barely being held accountable at all. -It seems like the place is becoming a revolving door instead of a place to be mentored or cultivated for future internal growth. Lots of turn and burn, especially on the sales side of things.
