Pros

Office is close to malls. Good for people who like to shop. Office is in same building as Indigo. One gets to see pretty air hostesses. Office air conditioning is nice and strong. Toilets have nice fragrances (lavender and orange)

Cons

Absolutely hopeless joke of a firm. There is nothing called research that happens here. All I am asked to do is to download reports and forward them. No one has a clue as to what there is, in those reports. Being a part of ATK GSC is like entering a geriatric care ward. People come to chill, create kids, and retire. The work is soo retarded that employment prospects post this place would be that of a call centre or security personnel . The senior management is not concerned about employees or work quality. All they care about is Glassdoor ratings. When ever the ratings go down, we are given a sermon. Why don't they understand that in order to get good ratings , one needs to do good work. Artificially improving things won't work

Pros

- Lots of free time. Ideal location for people interested in doing their MBA entrance exam preparations, getting married, or for raising children. - Good food and snacks available - Generous leave policy - take a leave whenever you want, work from home for months at a stretch (and pretend to work by appearing online some times) - Descent brand name. People from outside the firm can easily be confused and consider you to be a consultant

Cons

- Zero career growth. The only skill that this place teaches you is how to google stuff... even my 10 year old nephew can do that - Pure data extraction and data entry work. It's interesting how people make fancy presentations just before the appraisals (keeping in mind that these presentations might not be having any relevant with the work going on in the firm) - Zero travel. If you think you're going to travel abroad and lead the typical consulting life, think twice and get yourself an asprin. - The HR, office assistants, IT, helpers, etc.... all will ensure to highlight the fact that you're a researcher and not a consultant. You'll always be treated as a second class citizen. They even have different water sources. Consultants get bottled water, and researchers need to refill their bottles from the water coolers... this might sound immaterial.. but this is just an example the extent of differences existing - The way to advance once's career in this unit is by indulging in petty politics and pretending to do great work (in spite of it being from google search's first page) - The recruitment practices have really gone downhill. Recruitments are made from random colleges such as Keshav Mahavidyalaya and Lovely Professional University

Pros

1. Awesome work life balance. Everyome takes 2 hour lunch breaks and no one could care less. Work from home is also great, everyone can catch up on game of throne series 3. No restrictions on websites. Majority of the people has facebook, youtube or shadi.com open all the time 4. Amazing lunches - 4 course meals (slightly Salty and oily on some days), free soft drinks, chips, bread butter 5. Good pay for doing no work (copy pasting at the most)

Cons

1. Its a swamp. If you get stuck, you won't be able to go anywhere as there are no growth or exit options 2. If you're good at politics and back biting, you'll do an amazing job here. Bcoz thats what people do here the entire day 3. The unit is down and has no hope remaining. It reminds me of a retirement home. 4. If you have any career plans or ambition, you won't stay here for more than a month. Even the brand of atk has gone down 5. New recruitments have been horrible. They talk in broken English and make this place resemble a local bpo
