Pros

Pros: 1. Stryker as a global organization has a solid reputation in the medical device industry. 2. Salary packages and benefits are competitive for the Indian market. 3. Strong product portfolio with meaningful impact on healthcare systems worldwide.

Cons

Cons: 1. Hiring for the Bangalore-based Vocera entity is managed exclusively through a third-party consultancy, TeamBees, run by Rahul Gupta. There are allegations that hiring decisions involve questionable practices, including monetary influence over senior decision-makers. 2. A toxic work culture has emerged under certain leaders, notably Vijay Indoria, whose alleged pursuit of internal promotions has led to the dismissal of technically competent employees across global teams. 3. Senior leadership, including VPs like Josh, appear either unaware or indifferent to these internal politics, possibly due to the sheer scale of Stryker’s global operations. 4. Within the Bangalore Vocera office, these issues are widely known but rarely spoken about, as many employees choose to tolerate the environment in hopes of job security or early retirement. 5. The HR department, while powerful on paper, is ineffective in addressing employee grievances. Most operational execution is handed off to highly efficient contract workers based in Singapore and other Asian countries. 6. Stryker's internal employee policies in India often feel out of sync with the premium quality and pricing of their medical products, raising questions about internal vs. external value alignment. 7. Advancement seems to favor those who engage in excessive flattery of upper management rather than merit or technical capability. Survival and promotion appear to depend more on internal politics than on performance.

Pros

You will know foolish people exist in IT. You will know what can be level of stupidity possible. You will realise that Hrs in this company are so illiterate.

Cons

1. Worst interview process. They will take 7 rounds and during the process the HR will promise you of good hike. But when it will come to salary negotiation you will get a hike of 8-10% . 2. Your interview process will take 1 month and the rounds will be postponed several times. Mine 2nd round postponed 6 times. And they will inform about it exactly at the time it was scheduled. You will be ready prepared and you will get the news that manager is on leave. Fatuous people did he take leave at 3 PM?? could not you have informed in the morning itself?? 3. They will not consider your PF as part of your CTC, So this 8-10% hike will be on your CTC excluding PF. Even though in the offer they will include their PF as part of the offer. How intelligent of you. ... 4.While considering your current CTC they will remove the foodie card/sodexo, attire allowance, bus allowance ,child care allowance or any other allowance that you might have in your breakup. Thus reducing your fixed salary component by around 30% and then offer you 20% hike . This eventually will make your offer less than what you are earning. Where did you study your MBA stupid HRs and accountants??? IIN?? 5.If you negotiate they will say its our policy we do not give more than 20% hike. Bloody but why did you reduce my salary in the first place then offer me 20%? Insane people are you trying to play with us?? 6.Their offer will include 11% as variable pay. Wow surprise now you are gonna earn less than what you are currently getting. Kudos to the policy!!!! Who designed it ?? "DIL" movie's anupam kher?? 7.Just listen to their promising sounding words .... They will say you will be here under a program , if your aspirations are for technical we will put you there, if managerial then there and if both, then techno management. First tell us which program turned you people such imbecile . We do not need some illiterates like you to put us in some doltish program. 8.I nailed their interview process and came out very strong. But that's not the place for me to work. I can sense the over smartness of the management and HR here itself. Do not want more experience working there. 9. People in Us made this a good company but the gurgaon branch is in control of these people. God save you !!!!!!! 10. There is one thing that goes for you HRs and policy makers. Get back to school and study again.

Pros

Good Salary, Free Lunch, Telephone Reimbursement over and above your CTC.

Cons

1. You have to be part of certain lobby to get visibility 2. For IT employees, if you want to remain developer throughout your career, join Stryker 3. No Long Term Onsite since Stryker India works exactly like contractors to Stryker Global. 4. Recently they fired 5 people without giving any reasons. The decision was taken because business did not want the specific technology and wanted to go with another one. So from Stryker India, people were fired and currently these people are on 4 months notice and this created panic through out the organization. 5. High favouritism and Politics.
